About The Facilitator

John Tarnoff is an executive and career transition coach, speaker, and author who helps professionals find more meaningful and sustainable careers in today’s volatile economy. While he works at all career experience levels, he specializes in mid-late career transitions, and senior-level transitions into second-act careers.

Fired 39% during his 35 years as a film producer, studio executive and tech entrepreneur, he learned the keys to turning setbacks into successes. He reinvented his own career at 50, earning a master’s degree in counseling psychology to focus on education and training.

Since leaving entertainment in 2010, John has coached individuals and groups. Corporate coaching clients include Bank of America, Bridgewater Assoc., Carnegie-Mellon University, Levi-Strauss, Softbank, TD Ameritrade, and Thrive Global.

He has also created and recorded three online video courses for LinkedIn Learning on the topic of the multi-generational workforce.

He is the author of the best-selling Boomer Reinvention: How to Create your Dream Career Over 50 and has been named a Top Influencer in Aging by PBS/NextAvenue.

Limited Enrollment

Each Workshop is limited to no fewer than 15 and no more than 25 participants. This size is manageable on a Zoom conference and allows for dynamic and meaningful interaction and participation.

For each 75-90 minute session, participants receive handouts and worksheets that prepare them for the week's topic, and teach the core skill set that will help them define their value proposition, optimize their LinkedIn profile, build their network, prepare for interviews, and more.

engaging & experiential

Each live session includes opportunities to share wins and challenges, and to work with the facilitator and to interact with fellow participants for their encouragement, feedback, and support.

Polls and Breakout Rooms help track progress and build community.

accountability

Each session will have an associated assignment that will be covered in the following session, taking participants along a journey to build skills and prepare a plan that they can use after the workshop is complete.
